January 28th, 2010

Some people bruise a lot more easily than others, but we all tend to bruise more easily as we get older. When we get older we have less protection below the skin and therefore bruise more easily. These bruises may not pose any health risks but regardless there are ways to prevent them from occurring and things that you can do help them heal when they do occur. After reading this you should never need to ask ‘what can i do to prevent bruising altogether’ again.

First up, ensure that your skin is protected. If you enjoy to go out on your skateboard then get some protective clothing that will keep you safe. For any activity that you are keen on that may put you in danger of getting a knock, get protecting gear. Also, in your general life make sure that you are always vigilant and watchful so that you don’t go bumping into people and objects around you. For those that bruise really easily, a simply knock on the arm can create a big bruise. Ensure that you are constantly mindful of your surroundings at all times and avoid places where you might consider yourself to be in danger of such things.

Another thing that can cause bruising is a lack of vitamin K. This can cause the blood to clot poorly which can lead to severe bruising. This vitamin is rife in things like green vegetables so its important that you look to incorporate things like cabbage and broccoli into your regular diet.

Another reason that you might be seeing bruises appear for no discernible reason is that you you are not getting sufficient amounts of vitamin C into your diet as well. This vitamin is important in making sure that the capillary walls are strong and therefore do not leak blood which can result in bruising. You can get this vitamin from all sorts of different fruits and fruit juices. If you find that your diet is lacking in things like fruit and vegetables then its important you start to eat them on a regular basis. If you don’t then getting a multivitamin supplement is a good alternative.

There is only so much you can do to make sure that you do not bruise but naturally you will bruise from time to time whatever you do. You can use something called arnica cream on a bruise when this does happen. Rub this in several times each day to the affected area.

You can also use hydrotherapy. All you need for this is a couple of cloths. Soak one in cold water and another in hot. Then put the hot one on your bruise and leave it for three minutes before removing it and placing the cold on on the bruise for thirty seconds. Repeat this about four times daily until your notice the bruise disappear.

Last of all, you can use a bit of aromatherapy. Get together the necessary oils and rub them lightly into the skin. Then wrap a bandage over the area nice and loosely.

These are some of the things you can do to help prevent bruising and well as different therapies you can use to help them clear more quickly.

In tons cases their are tons that bruise easy compared to others and to get help to prevent bruising from happening should be follow through bruise treatment.

Will a Consistent Walking Program Help Me Reduce Bruising?

August 16th, 2009

When you decide that you want to take up a regular walking regimen, you will often be congratulated for making such a healthy decision. Walking will help you improve your cardiovascular system, and improve your endurance. You will lose fat while increasing the amount of your muscle mass but, you probably are not aware that your walking routine can also help you to reduce bruising easily as well?

We tend to be more inclined to bruising easily as we grow older. We can look down and suddenly see bruises on our wrists and forearms without remembering the time we lightly brushed against a kitchen cabinet yesterday or a few days ago. As we get older, our collagen level diminishes, and our blood vessels become more frail, which leads to highly visible bruises which don’t seem in keeping with their initial trivial cause.

The important thing to remember is that this is not something that you need to live with. If you want to avoid needing to think about covering up those bruises and when you want to stop seeing them at all, it is time to see what a dedicated walking program can do for you. This is an important aspect of keeping up your health, so think about what is out there.

In the first place, walking when done properly can be a very aerobic exercise. When you walk, you are improving your cardiovascular health, which means that you are strengthening your blood vessels. The blood vessel walls are becoming healthier and less frail, and that means that as they get stronger, they will no longer be so apt to rupture and cause bruises due to light contact.

Walking will cause you to increase your muscle mass. This muscle growth can help you become more graceful and balanced, which will allow you to exercise more control of your body so that you are less likely to bump into things nearly as much. Even when you do bump into something, toned and healthy mass will help prevent so much trauma from taking place.

A regular exercise routine should be an important part of everyone’s life, but keep firmly in mind that your routine can also help you overcome the bruising easily that you might be suffering. Even if you are only getting a few small bruises on your arms and legs, or even if you seem to find a new bruise every time you turn around; beginning a good walking routine can prove very beneficial.

Before you start up any new exercise program it is advisable that you should speak to your personal physician. He or she might have recommendations to make about your beginning intensity level and how quickly you should progress. Get good walking shoes, and if at all possible, try to find a good track to walk upon, rather than concrete sidewalks. If you walk just on sidewalks, it can be surprisingly tough on your body, particularly the knees if you’re not focused on the hazards.

A dedicated walking program is a terrific way to help start preventing your bruises, but don’t overlook a daily, natural supplement program. As an example the uniquely formulated blend of supplements found in Bruises Be Banned has been proved to be effective to reduce bruising or prevent bruising altogether.
